Dr. Blackburn has accomplished a three-year surgical residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
Dr. Blackburn’s residency encompassed reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, individualized diabetic foot care and maintenance, Charcot reconstruction and sports injuries. He currently provides advanced wound care therapies at Mercy Fairfield wound care center.
Dr. Blackburn graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. He is a native to the Cincinnati area and a lifelong resident of Clermont county. He is currently opening his primary practice in Amelia. He has experience treating patients in a variety of clinical settings: physician offices, woundcare centers, surgical centers and hospitals. His professional memberships include Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
